Par 3, 127yds - Stroke Index 9

On paper this short hole looks to be an easy one to finish on however the distance and stroke index shouldn’t fool you.

We always point out that our course design has taken inspiration from these famous UK Open Championship courses rather than trying to replicate and this is most evident with our final hole.

Inspired by the 9th at Royal Lytham & St Annes, the most obvious difference is the tree in the middle of our fairway protecting the green and forcing you to play over which demands an accurate tee shot as the green is surrounded on all sides by eight deep pot bunkers.

The four bunkers on either side and out of bounds to the back of the green makes this one of the most dangerous holes on the course and difficult if your chasing a birdie to take the game.

It’s essential you hit a clean and controlled shot off the tee and get the ball to stop on the green which is large and for the most part flat making putting to close your round fairly straight forward.
