STEPHEN McALLISTER
After a successful amateur career which saw international honours at Youth and Senior level Stephen was triumphant in victory with a win in the 1983 Lytham Trophy. Sticking to his plan Stephen turned professional in 1983.
During an apprenticeship of PGA Tartan Tour Events for 4 years, Stephen eventually qualified in 1987 to play full time on the The European Tour.
1990 saw the breakthrough with two victories in the Atlantic and Dutch Opens. These victories produces international honours when Stephen represented Scotland in the 1990 Dunhill Cup at St Andrews alongside Sandy Lyle and Sam Torrance.
In 2000, Stephen played his last European Tour event and with a move into Corporate Golf this allowed him to build in various areas including coaching.
Until recently Stephen headed up the coaching team for Renfrewshire Golf Union and now delivers teaching at Playsport Golf to a wide range of players from beginners through to PGA Professionals.
